Congratulations Newly Appointed, JOH Metro NY/NJ Vice Presidents, Doug Parker and Kenny Sassano, and Director, Scott Cassidy
Billerica, MA – Today JOH announced the advancement of three JOH’ers. Doug Parker has been promoted to Vice President of Metro Grocery, Kenny Sassano has been promoted to Vice President of Frozen/Dairy, Inner City and Scott Cassidy has been promoted to Director of Metro Retail Operations.
Doug Parker has worked in the food industry for 35 years. 20 years of his career was spent with Reckitt Benckiser, 12 years with French’s Food Company and the past three years have been JOH as an Account Executive in the Metro NY/NJ office.
In his new role as Vice President of Metro Grocery, Doug will be managing the Account Executives and Managers in the Metro NY/NJ office.
Doug lives in Cornwall, New York with his wife, Jo Ann. They have three grown children: Joseph, Christopher and Julia.
Kenny Sassano has worked in the food industry for 23 years. Before coming to JOH in 2014, he worked at Acosta Sales & Marketing and Schwans Consumer Brands.
As the newly appointed VP, Frozen/Dairy, Inner City, Kenny will be overseeing all business related to the Frozen/Dairy business and client development.
Kenny lives in Wayne, NJ.
Scott Cassidy has worked in the food industry for 32 years. He began his career with M&H Food Brokers in 1986 which later became ESM/Ferolie. He joined JOH in 2015.
In his new role as Director of Metro Retail Operations, Scott will be reporting to Harry Helmstetter, VP Metro Retail. He will be overseeing the day to day activities of retail supervisors and sales representatives. His primary role will be to ensure all JOH clients are being represented properly at the retail level.
Scott lives in Harrington Park, NJ with his wife, Deborah two daughters, Amy and Katelyn, and their dear dog, Daisy.
